Learn to Skate registration is now open for 2022.
6 Week Session – Saturdays from 12:30 PM – 1:30 PM
Learn to Skate is a great way to start ice skating for recreational and competitive skaters. Our program follows Learn to Skate USA guidelines. Learn to Skate USA is endorsed by US Figure Skating, USA Hockey, and US Speedskating.
Each session includes skate rental, a 20-minute group lesson, and structured practice time. Beginner-level skaters participate in supervised games and practice time with skating assistants when not in group lessons.
The price includes professional instruction for six sessions, ice rental, and use of facility skates with a $15 refundable deposit. The maximum class size is 32 participants per session.

Before registering for this program, you must have a LEARN TO SKATE USA membership number, which can be obtained here: https://learntoskateusa.com/registration
REQUIRED
- Skaters must be able to skate without the assistance of an instructor or skating bars.
- Participants must register a membership with LEARN TO SKATE USA to participate (Register first at https://learntoskateusa.com/registration)
- Participants should arrive at 12:00 pm each day to get checked in and to get skates. Dress warmly.
- Helmets are not required but are recommended. GCCC does NOT provide helmets.
