PUBLIC OPEN SKATING
Open skating sessions allow the general public to enjoy ice skating in a casual environment. Check our current schedule for up-to-date open skating session dates & times. Admission is $10 for all ages. Skate Rental is $5. Season passes are available for unlimited skating and discounted skate rentals.
LEARN TO SKATE
Learn to Skate is a great way to start ice skating. Our program follows Learn to Skate USA guidelines and is endorsed by US Figure Skating, USA Hockey, and US Speedskating. Each session includes skate rental, a 20-minute group lesson, and structured practice time. Beginner-level skaters participate in supervised games and practice time with skating assistants when not in group lessons.
SKATE & SHOOT
Skate and Shoot sessions are an opportunity for hockey players of all ages to get on the ice to work on their skills or to play a light scrimmage. We offer multiple skate and shoot session types that are restricted to certain age levels – Adult, Youth, and Family sessions. Each session is capped at 25 players and 2 goaltenders. Full equipment is required for all Skate & Shoot sessions. See our Skate & Shoot Schedule for the latest scheduled sessions, along with current pricing information.
ADULT HOCKEY
We offer several non-checking co-ed and women-only Adult hockey opportunities for all skill levels. Adult beginner hockey runs on Tuesday nights, and our co-ed intermediate Zamboni League runs on Thursday nights. We also have privately run advanced co-ed leagues on Wednesday and Sunday nights. Our womens-only program runs on Sunday evenings. Check out the registration listings for current programs that are accepting new players today.
YOUTH HOCKEY
We have a long-standing partnership with the Canandaigua Knight Youth Hockey organization, which offers Youth Hockey programs for 4-year-old beginners up to elite 18-year-old travel hockey players. Their youth hockey programs are age & skill appropriate to develop youth hockey players of all skill levels. Visit the CKH website for current information on beginner, house, or travel hockey youth programs they offer out of our arena.
FIGURE SKATING
Figure skaters can practice during any of our public open skating sessions. Several private figure skating coaches and clubs utilize our facility to operate private and semi-private figure skating lessons to take your skating to the next level. Skaters who have mastered Basic and Freestyle skills can also advance to full USFSA membership to continue skating or competing as part of a figure skating team.
